Tasting - Blush
Name: Blush
Variety: Rosé
Region: Texas
Country: United States
Year: 2010
Price: $9.95
Winery Review: Bizarre blend of sweet and fruit forward flavors. This is not a wine that we normally let the public taste because it doesn't have distinct characteristics that we normally like to feature but for a sweet after dinner wine, this would do the trick.
My Review: This wine had a beautiful fruit bouquet. I would compare this to receiving an "edible arrangement" of only strawberries and honeydew. The fruits smelled sweet but fresh and the honeysuckle pushed through tremendously. The taste had a crisp and sweet finish that would pair well with a light summer salad with poppyseed dressing.
I tried this wine without any food.
