Winery Review: A fruit-forward Malbec with round grape flavors and an earthy, mineralic quality balanced with a mild acidity and tannic presence.
My Review: The smell mimicked that of a horse barn. My family owns a barn and it reminded me of the leather used for saddles and the oaky sawdust that is overwhelming when you step through the doors. The plum and dark fruit accents were obvious with a strong tannic and acidic finish.
I tried this wine without any food.
